Multimedia 12 Course Outline
This course will entail creative problem solving through the exploration of such media as:
Digital Video
Digital Photography
Sound/ Music
Powerpoint
Activities will be focusing on developing skills and understanding of digital imagery and editing software while engaging in creative problem solving through specific themes.
These themes will include: Self Portrait
Visual Poetry
Documentary/ Interview
Genre Exploration
Design Principles
Vocabulary Development
Evaluation
Student evaluation will be based on the following components
Class interaction/ Participation
Activities
Assignments
Projects
Exam
Due to limited equipment and nature of work, students will be working collaboratively on most assignments.
The course is designed to allow each student to develop knowledge and skill in the different roles of production. Ie. Director, Camera Operator, Editor, Actor, and Critic.
By the ent of this course, students will have a working knowledge of how to create, plan, organize, film, edit, produce, and exhibit digital material.
On occasion, I may feel it important to contact you to discuss student progress. In these cases I will contact you by telephone unless otherwise instructed.
